Writing business plans and then re-writing them as the goals, mission, and conditions of the business change over the years provides not only a focus point for the development of future business development, it provides us with snapshots of the past. Lots of people have ideas to start a business, but starting a successful business takes more than a good idea, it takes planning. And writing business plans is not just for start-ups looking for investors either.
