Some people say that before considering developing management leadership for tomorrow, they need to survive today. I get that. Others say that in order to survive today (and in the short run) they need a strategy in place now for management leadership for tomorrow – so their people will have s strong sense of where the organization is going AND they’ll be ready for whatever comes as the business grows over time. That makes sense as well.
